About Row DTLA

Built between 1917 and 1923, the site was originally known as the LA Terminal Market and it served as a major wholesale and distribution hub for produce. Built by the Southern Pacific Railroad, the nine buildings on the site are considered execellent examples of early 20th century industrial architecture. Totaling almost two million square feet, the site is being converted into a district with creative office space, retail and cultural/art uses.
